Golf Outing

Once again, Paul Montinieri, Mayor of Wethersfield, CT, chaired our Golf Outing. We appriciate his great efforts along with all our sponsors, golfers and contributors. Besides great raffle and auction items, there were hundreds of dollars in golfing prizes available.
Special thanks to Bill Quirk, Tim Tuell and Gerlyn Drake for their expertise in organizing this great tournament! We also welcomed guest speakers Lori Willin and Audrey Saharek (Co-Presidents of Wethersfield Dollars for Scholars) and Thomas Moore (Principal of Wethersfield High School.) Our putting contest was directed by Rico and Ellen Santoro. Other voluntees included Gina Cusano, Pam St. Jean, Maureen Horowitz, Linda Wood, Mary Clare Quirk, Tom Fitzpatrick, Jim Stack, Priscilla Kokinis, Laura Bloomquist, Denise Fote, Chris Fote and Debbie Epp.
Registration and Lunch started the day at 10:00 am, Shotgun start at 12:30 pm and Buffet Dinner and Award Presentation at 5:30 pm. We had a glorious day - perfect weather!!
And most importantly, this year Wethersfield Dollars for Scholars netted over $20,000.00. Over the years, this Golf Outing has raised over $254,000.00 for Dollars for Scholars. 100% of the net proceeds go to scholarships!
